Aloha Affordable Veterinary Services, located just outside Honolulu on Pearl Harbor, is looking for a passionate veterinarian to join our vibrant, collaborative, and mission-driven practice.

About Us:
Our clinic is bright, colorful, and fun—with a spacious, efficient layout featuring 10 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, 1 dental suite, and 2 large treatment areas, totaling over 5,600 square feet. Renovated as recently as 2024, our space is designed for seamless, high-quality care.  We utilize our exam rooms for client/patient check-in and check-out, avoiding the use of a congested lobby and facilitating greater client communication and clinic flow.

We are a high-volume, lower-cost clinic with an unwavering commitment to serving our community. We never say no to a patient, and we always find a way to help, utilizing our community partners and resources, including our owner-funded non-profit. Our team-first approach, deep mutual respect, and shared sense of humor make this a truly special place to work.

What We Offer:

• Digital X-Ray, Dental CR X-ray, Ultrasound
• CryoPen, Therapeutic Laser, Cautery
• In-House CBC, Chemistry, UA, Imagyst Scanning Microscopes
• Paperless medical records
• A diverse patient base: 95% small animal, 5% mixed (goats, pigs, sheep, chickens)

Schedule & Flexibility:

• 4-day work week (8AM–5PM)
• One designated day off per week
• One designated surgery day once trained (for new grads) or ready (for experienced vets)
• No weekends or after-hours/on-call

Mentorship for New Grads:
We proudly offer our year-long Cultivating Confidence Mentorship Program, including longer appointment times, 1-on-1 training, shadowing, monthly mentorship meetings, and full support from your veterinary team.

Support Staff & Culture:
Each doctor has two dedicated assistants, and surgery teams are supported by three assistants and one vet. Our three incredible RVTs are joined by enthusiastic assistants, many who are currently attending tech school. Our team has special interests in dentistry, dermatology, pain management, anesthesia, and high-volume surgery.  We perform specialized surgeries including FHOs, advanced abdominal soft tissue surgeries and upper airway surgeries as well.

Community Impact:
We were established for our community, by our community.  We truly are a community clinic.  In the 7 years we have been open, our clinic has provided over 30,000 spay/neuter surgeries and over $2,000,000 of outreach veterinary care.  The level of outreach and community impact we have is unmatched.  If there is a need we are presented with, we find a way to meet it, each and every time.
